Deep Space probe Ranger 3, piloted by NASA astronaut William Anthony 'Buck' Rogers, is found drifting through space by the starship Draconia. Rogers is revived, and returned to Earth, unwittingly allowing the Draconians to map a safe passage through Earth's defences, thus allowing them to proceed with their secret plan to invade Earth.
